Plants engineered during these early years are still working all over the world (USA, CH, RUS).

Already in 1985 we designed industrial waste water treatments with cross-flow membrane technology (Zeiss D, Siemens CH, Siemens D).

In 1991 we implemented the new technology of vacuum evaporation. As early as in 1993 we introduced a new generation of vacuum evaporators with heat-pump for the industrial waste water treatment.

Also these evaporators are still working today around the world!

During the year 2000 the family was caught by the sailing disease. The disease was so strong that we sold the complete business activities in industrial waste water treatment to a competitor and sailed for one year around the mediterranean sea.

Additionally we often had to leave idyllic baies due to the troubles with our small desalination unit and the permanent fresh water stress.

So we decided to design a new, reliable, strong and small desalination unit.

None of the tested units was working to our satisfaction. They all had already enormous deficits in the processing parameters in comparison with industrial plants.

Therefore a small testing unit was designed with nearly the same process parameters as the big industrial plants.

With this small, awfully looking, boatbuild unit we checked all designs to find out the ideal parameters for a small desalination unit.

As low-cost desalination units they can be produced in big quantities (> 1000 pcs) by injection moulding machines!

In the year 2006 we started the development of desalination units with an output of 30 - 120 l/h.

Actually the pre-series production of these units is finished.

For many details of the new unit patents are pending.

And also we won't miss the new development of the nano-membranes.

Today they are produced as individual handmade designs
